Carbon fiber cannot be ignored in today’s life. The feasibility to meet a product or to sit in a vehicle in which Toho Tenax carbon fiber has been used is fairly high as the Toho Tenax Europe GmbH is the leading manufacturer of carbon fibers in Europe.  

With a total number of 350 workers and employees we are represented in two cities in the western part of Germany. While the divisions Development & Laboratories and Marketing & Sales are located in Wuppertal, around 5,100 tons of carbon fiber a year are manufactured on four lines on our Heinsberg-Oberbruch production site.

Since 1986, Tenax® carbon fiber has been produced under the licence of our Japanese parent company Toho Tenax Co., Ltd. The close cooperation with the other companies of the Toho Tenax Group allows us to offer the complete range of latest high-performance carbon fibers. Therefore, we will be able to offer you solutions for diversified applications.

Our targets are maintaining the market leadership in Europe, expanding our strong position in aerospace and gaining further market shares in the industrial field – targets that are based on continuous improvement and cost optimization of our products.
