Worldwide unified appearance of the Toho Tenax Group
The worldwide unified appearance of the Toho Tenax Group is an essential part of our corporate policy. This will allow the strengthening of our global identification and at the same time it will offer you higher transparency of our business structure. For this reason we have already accomplished several reorganisations in the past: By April 1st, 2005 the company names within our group were unified and we obtained the name Toho Tenax Europe GmbH. Furthermore, the globally unified brand name Tenax® for our carbon fiber was established in January 2006.
New fiber type designation of Tenax® filament yarn
Another step to improve our service is the implementation of worldwide unified product designations. So far different product designations of Tenax® filament yarn were used at all three production sites of our Group (Japan, Europe, and North-America). A concept to adapt this difference was developed which will be standardised globally and therefore immediately offers more visibility. The modification corresponds only to the designation, obviously the Tenax® filament yarn products stay unchanged.
The product names were implemented on April 1st, 2008 at all production sites of the Toho Tenax Group. All materials which were produced from this date onward are labelled accordingly. At the same time we introduced a new code for our lot number system which will be used worldwide and therefore also contributes to higher transparency.
