Tenax® Short fibers

Chopped and milled fibers are mainly used to enhance the mechanical properties of thermoplastic resins. In addition, the good electrical conductivity of carbon fiber achieves an electromagnetic shielding (EMI) in a variety of applications.

These properties establish Tenax® chopped and milled carbon fibers for use in housing components of electrical appliances or injection moulded parts in mechanical engineering and automotive industry. Tenax® chopped and milled fibers are supplied in a variety of sizes to be used, apart from thermoplastic resins, with thermosets and in water-based processes.
